The Atlantis Self-priming Centrifugal Pump PJm-60 is designed for residential and building use, serving small irrigation and light industrial applications — ideal for wells, cisterns and low-pressure networks.
The self-priming system, with an internal Venturi tube, removes air from the suction piping automatically, eliminating the need for constant pre-filling with water — just one initial priming during installation.
With high suction up to 9 meters and maximum head of 28 mca at peak pressure, the PJm-60 solves weak water supply problems in homes, buildings up to 6 floors and pressurization systems — eliminating the need for a foot valve.

Follow the guidelines below as a general reference.

Before installation, ensure the pump is properly grounded according to safety standards (NBR 5410).

Install the pump vertically in a dry, ventilated location protected from rain and splashes. NEVER submerge in water.

Connect 1" suction piping to the inlet and 1" discharge piping to the outlet.

Initial priming: fill the pump and suction piping with water before first start. After that, self-priming is automatic.

Connect to the correct voltage (127V or 220V depending on model) and install a compatible breaker with RCD protection.
Important tips
- Mandatory grounding: before operating, ensure the pump is properly grounded according to electrical safety standards.
- NEVER touch the pump while it is operating. Risk of electric shock and burns from natural heating.
- DO NOT run the pump dry. Operating without water immediately damages the impeller and motor — voids warranty.
- Protect the motor from rain and direct splashes. Despite IP44, prolonged water exposure can cause electrical damage.

Yes — one of the main applications. The PJm-60 has high suction up to 9 meters, sufficient for most cistern wells and shallow wells. For deeper artesian wells (over 9m), we recommend Atlantis submersible pumps. Remember to install the pump above the well level, NEVER submerged in water.
NO — this is the main advantage of the self-priming system. You prime (fill the pump and suction piping with water) only ONCE, at the initial installation. After that, the pump maintains suction automatically through the internal Venturi tube, even after long stops or loss of water column.
